Although very focused on Tea we are also passionate about the coffee we serve. Only the very best Premium coffee finds its way to Cemlyn.

We have an interesting range of wines from around the world and also Beers from the Purple Moose Micro Brewery in Porthmadog and other parts of Wales.

This is a very important beverage so of course we want the best. So with this in mind we have found some fantastic single-origin chocolate from ‘Marimba’ who produce Dark, Milk and White drinking chocolates.

All our own food is made on the premises from scones and teacakes to hand-made bread, Cemlyn is the home of ‘Home-Made’ cakes, with Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free options, sumptuously rich chocolate and our famous Coffee and Walnut sponge.

You can be assured that your Cream Tea will be served with only the very best local Welsh cream, not that ‘squirty stuff’ that comes in aerosols.

There is even an opportunity to indulge in some Retail Therapy with some very special Teas and Coffees available for you to take home as well as locally made preserves and chutneys and a range of Teaware (teapots, to you and me).

Tables are available on our Sun Terrace during opening times, although we have equally good views from inside.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the rear terrace.
